All rooms include flat-screen satellite TVs, air conditioning, free WiFi, and private bathrooms with showers. Some attic-level rooms feature color-themed décor. The hotel building also houses Concha d'Oro seafood restaurant (specializing in cod dishes and lobster thermidor), Casa Brasileira patisserie (traditional pastéis de nata), and LVSO Central Italian restaurant.

Central Lisbon Location

Located on pedestrian Rua Augusta in Baixa Pombalina district, 5 minutes walk from Rossio Square, Praça do Comércio, and Santa Justa Lift. The hotel is 300 meters from Rossio Metro Station (Green Line), with direct Aerobus service from the airport. Rossio Railway Station provides trains to Sintra, while Cais do Sodré station connects to Cascais.

Cultural Neighborhood Access

Surrounded by São Jorge Castle, Lisbon Cathedral, and Fado music venues in Alfama. The property is 500 meters from Arco do Triunfo and 1 km from Bairro Alto's evening entertainment district. Modern Parque das Nações area with Oceanarium and Altice Arena is accessible via Metro from nearby stations.

Historical Building Features

Housed in a preserved Pombaline-style building with hand-painted watercolors throughout. The hotel celebrates Portuguese poets Bocage, Fernando Pessoa, Florbela Espanca, and Luís Vaz de Camões, with each room dedicated to one author. Parking solutions available upon request. Ironing facilities, mini-bars, and tea/coffee makers in rooms.

“Rooms may be compact, but this Lisbon address makes up for it with a prime Baixa location - ideal for first-timers. The hotel's dedication to Portuguese poets adds a layer of local character, a thoughtful touch. Breakfast is a highlight, setting the tone for days exploring nearby Rossio Square and the vibrant Bairro Alto.”

convenient location easy access complimentary tarts small room angled ceiling cold food
The location was very convenient. It was close to main attractions. I appreciated how easy it was to walk to restaurants and shops. Staff gave us complimentary pasteis de belem tarts.
The room felt very small. My husband kept hitting his head on the angled ceiling. When I opened the door, it hit the bed. The breakfast was horrible, the hot food was cold, and the cold food was warm.
